literally if more people understood the basic tools of a medium and how they work we would solve anti-intellectualism so fast

if film and literature are a part of our everyday lives, we owe it to ourselves to understand what they are and how they work on a basic technical and story level… it’s as important as other forms of literacy like scientific literacy and not even as hard bc we immerse ourselves in these media so often!
